Bring compatible infrared-controlled appliances together with the OKOS R4 Smart Universal IR Remote. Use the OKOS Smart app on Android or iOS to control supported TVs, air conditioners, set-top boxes and home theatre systems.
Keep the R4 connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network to send app commands over the Internet, including when you are away from home.
Voice control for supported functions
Connect with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for selected compatible commands. Available functions vary by appliance, remote profile and voice assistant integration.
Place it where your devices can see it
The R4 uses six IR sensors for 360 degree coverage around the hub. Each appliance needs a clear line of sight to the R4. Walls, closed cabinets and other obstructions can block infrared signals.
Set up your IR devices
Connect the R4 to USB Type-C power, add it in the OKOS Smart app and configure a compatible appliance. Use a supported remote profile or DIY learning with a compatible original IR remote, then test the functions you need. DIY-learned commands may not support voice control.

The R4 is designed for infrared-controlled devices. Compatibility varies, and support for every device or function is not guaranteed. Fire TV Stick is not supported.

Can the R4 control devices through walls?

Can I use the app when I am away from home?
Yes. The app can send commands over the Internet without your phone being on the same Wi-Fi network. The R4 must stay online, and your phone needs an Internet connection.
Can I teach it commands from my original remote?
DIY learning is available for compatible original infrared remotes. Command support varies, so test the learned functions with your appliance. DIY-learned commands may not support voice control.
Does it support Fire TV Stick?
