Smart Home or Home Automation?

Let's talk about the terms often used interchangeably but are actually quite different. A smart home is where devices are connected to the network and can be controlled via mobile app or voice assistants. Where as home Automation is where devices communicate with each other to change the state of a system in response to an event.
